Meet Professor Harold Goodwin
Harold Goodwin is the Founder of the International Centre for Responsible Tourism Network and Emeritus Professor and Responsible Tourism Director at the Institute of Place Management at Manchester Metropolitan University. Harold’s background is in adult and continuing education, and in his second career in universities, where he taught at the postgraduate level. He drafted the 2002 Cape Town Declaration on Responsible Tourism and wrote the 2022 Responsible Tourism Charter, which was signed and launched on Magna Carta Islandpassionate about transforming tourism practices.
